I had the pleasure of photographing weddings of two of this bride’s first cousins and was so honored when she contacted me when she was first engaged to be her photographer. She chose picturesque Summerour Studios in Atlanta as the wedding venue with its uniquely European feel.
We began the day with coverage of preparations by the bride at her mother’s home where she had invited several close girlfriends to join her for a first look of her in her bridal gown. Their reaction to seeing this gorgeous bride was somewhat overwhelming and I was able to document and preserve the memory of those many happy tears and excitement. It was all very touching.
The ceremony and reception were filled with jovial emotions and facial expressions that allowed us to powerfully relate this photogenic couple’s story. The evening ended with their festive getaway in a vintage car cheered on by well-wishing family and friends as they embarked on the next chapter of their life journey together.
