This was a wonderful New York wedding assignment for a lovely North Carolina bride and her handsome French groom. The weekend began with a ladies’ luncheon at a private club on Park Avenue then on to the rehearsal at stately St. Vincent Ferrer Church on the Upper East Side. An elegant rehearsal dinner followed at the American Museum of Natural History on the West Side.
We covered preparations by the bride at the Union Club, setting for the wedding reception. I dispatched another team photographer to the groom’s family apartment for the pre-ceremony scene there before the men walked over to church. We paused for a few portraits on the steps of church after the ceremony before heading over to the Union Club for the gorgeous dinner and dancing reception. It was a fun-filled late night that ended with an elevator departure by the elated but exhausted newlyweds.
